A30 Crash Leaves Motorcyclist Seriously Injured – Police Appeal for Witnesses

A man in his 60s has been seriously injured following a collision on the A30 westbound at Mitchell on Thursday evening.

Emergency services rushed to the scene

Police, ambulance, and other emergency services were called at around 7.10pm on Thursday 10th April to reports of a crash involving a Honda motorcycle and a white Ford Transit Connect.

The rider of the motorcycle, described as a local man in his 60s, sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident.

Road closed as investigation launched

The A30 westbound was closed for several hours while emergency crews dealt with the scene and began an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team have thanked the public for their patience during the disruption.

Witnesses and dash-cam footage wanted

Police are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam footage that could help with their enquiries.
