Police Appeal After Serious Collision in Mevagissey
Police are appealing for information after a serious road traffic collision in Mevagissey in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Collision on Polkirt Hill
Officers were called at around 4:30am on Saturday 5th July to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Polkirt Hill, Mevagissey, involving a grey Citroen C1.
An 18-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Two other passengers sustained minor injuries.
Arrest Made at the Scene
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and driving a motor vehicle on a road while over the prescribed limit of alcohol. She has since been released under investigation.
Police Seek Dash-Cam Footage
Police are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant dash-cam footage to come forward.
