Police Appeal to Find Missing Man in Looe

Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of 54-year-old Daniel Hicks, who has been reported missing from the Polruan, Looe area.

Description Released

Daniel is described as 5ft 3ins tall, of average build, with long curly, greying hair and a grey beard. When last seen, it’s believed he was wearing a black hoodie, tan shorts and ‘blundstoned’ boots.

Local Connections

Daniel is known to have links to both the Fowey and Polruan areas in Cornwall. Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

If you have seen Daniel or know of his whereabouts, you’re asked to call 999 immediately and quote log 0976 16/06/2025.

Police Update

Located | Daniel Hicks, 54, who had been reported missing from the Polruan area on Monday 16 June, has been found safe by police.

We would like to thank members of the public for their help, as well as our partners in search and rescue, HM Coastguard, Coastwatch, Rapid Relief Team and Lankelly Rugby Club for the use of their facilities.
