New Opportunity to Help Tackle Speeding in Looe – Volunteers Wanted!
Are you passionate about making your community safer? Looe Area Community Speed Watch (CSW) is now recruiting new members to help tackle speeding in and around the Looe area. This group is looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours each month to discourage speeding and promote safer roads.
How to Get Involved
If you’re interested in joining and making a difference in your community, it’s easy to get started. Visit Community Speed Watch’s site to find out more and to apply. Looe CSW is looking for volunteers who care about road safety and want to be involved in the community effort to reduce speeding.
Already Have a Local Group?
If you know of an existing Community Speed Watch group nearby, you can join them by registering on the National Community Speed Watch website. The process is simple:
- Click ‘Register’ on the top menu.
- Select ‘Join Existing Group’.
- Choose Devon and Cornwall from the pull-down list and click ‘Continue’.
- Select your local police district and follow the prompts to join.
After completing a short online training course and quiz, the group co-ordinator will be notified and will get in touch with you to discuss next steps.

If there isn’t an active CSW group in your area, don’t worry—you can start one! To find out how to set up your own Community Speed Watch group, visit this page and get all the information you need.
