3 Days, 2 Stages, and a Zero Waste Promise
A brand new music festival is coming to Looe this September, and it’s promising to be unlike anything Cornwall has seen before. Kernowfornia Festival 2025 will take over Looe beach from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September, with an ambitious 7000-capacity main stage, a packed line-up of international and Cornish talent, and a strong focus on sustainability.
Run by Cornish Musicians for Cornwall
Kernowfornia is proudly Cornish and independent, run by a team of passionate music lovers including Jonathan and myself, along with many others who have grown up in Cornwall. Together, they’re aiming to bring world-class original rock, pop and folk to a region that’s often overlooked by bigger artists.
The team behind the festival said:
“We plan to put it on the map as a destination for phenomenal and original rock, pop, and folk bands from around the world, as well as within Cornwall, and celebrate all the wonderful things that make Cornwall so special.”

“We hope that the festival will have a noticeable positive effect on Looe and the surrounding areas.”
A Festival With the Planet in Mind
Kernowfornia is committed to being one of the UK’s first net zero-waste festivals. Every aspect of the event is designed to be environmentally conscious, from the traders to the waste management.
“Kernowfornia is a net zero waste event, run by a group of passionate Cornish musicians and we strive to create an alternative music experience that is far from commercial.”
