Cornish Lithium Announces Key Board Appointment and Departure
Gary Steven Joins as Non-Executive Director
Cornish Lithium, the innovative mineral exploration and development company, has announced a significant addition to its Board. Gary Steven has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director, representing the National Wealth Fund (NWF), formerly the UK Infrastructure Bank.
Gary brings over 20 years of finance experience, including roles at BlackRock, Dalmore Capital, Bank of Scotland, and Lloyds Banking Group. At NWF, owned by HM Treasury, Gary leads the Portfolio Management team, overseeing a diverse range of debt and equity investments. His expertise spans originating and structuring financial transactions, managing infrastructure portfolios, and handling distressed assets.
Before joining NWF, Gary worked at BlackRock, where he was responsible for valuing infrastructure investments across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Adam Howard Steps Down
Alongside this appointment, Cornish Lithium announced the departure of Adam Howard, who steps down from the Board with immediate effect. Adam leaves to take up the position of Chief Financial Officer at Invinity Energy Systems. Jeremy expressed his gratitude to Adam, stating: “I also extend my thanks to Adam for his contributions as a Non-Executive Director and wish him every success in his new role.”
