Police Appeal for Witnesses After Serious Assault in Liskeard
Police Hunt Suspect After Attack Near Market Street
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in an assault in Liskeard on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called just before 4pm on 25th June to the area around Market Street and Well Lane, following a report of an incident involving two men.
A man in his 40s suffered serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital, where he is still receiving treatment.
The suspect had left the scene before police arrived, and enquiries are ongoing to identify and locate him.
Appeal for Information
Detectives are urging anyone who saw what happened, or who may have information, to get in touch if they haven’t already spoken to officers.

Alternatively, members of the public can visit the enquiry office at Liskeard Police Station, open from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday.
