A Loss for Liskeard
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service has said goodbye to Crew Manager Graham Smith, known to colleagues as Smudge. The team at Liskeard, particularly Purple Watch, expressed their gratitude for his dedication to the community and acknowledged the impact he had on morale.
In a heartfelt message, the station described Graham as “the heart and morale booster of Purple Watch” and assured him that “the commitment you have shown to the community of Liskeard will never go unnoticed.”
A New Chapter in Devon and Somerset
Graham is now set to continue his career with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, taking his experience and dedication to a new team. While his colleagues in Cornwall are sad to see him go, they wished him well in his new role.
Liskeard Community Fire Station shared their farewell message on Facebook, signing off with: “Go well mate. All the best from Purple Watch and everyone at Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.”
