Over 30 Cornwall Beaches Issued Sewage Spillage Warnings Over Easter Weekend

Published On: 30 March 2024Last Updated: 30 March 2024By

In a concerning development for Cornwall’s coastal areas, over 30 beaches have been issued warnings due to sewage discharges.

The alerts come in the wake of substantial rainfall and strong gales, impacting many of the region’s favoured destinations for locals and visitors alike.

Safety Notices for Beachgoers and Pet Owners

The situation has led to urgent advisories for several of Cornwall’s most beloved beaches, including well-known spots such as Polzeath, Porthowan, Looe, and Fistral Bay.
