As families seek autumn adventures this October half term, Land’s End is offering a unique opportunity: the chance to meet the iconic Paddington Bear and capture a memorable photo with him. This event celebrates the arrival of Paddington ahead of the anticipated film Paddington in Peru, coming to cinemas on 8th November.

Meet Paddington at Land’s End Landmark

The beloved bear, famously dressed in his signature blue duffle coat and red hat, now resides at Land’s End as part of a nationwide trail. Unveiled on 7th October, this new Paddington statue is one of 23 being placed on benches across the UK and Northern Ireland. This special installation brings a slice of nostalgia to Cornwall, with Paddington inviting visitors to share a marmalade sandwich or a cup of tea as they snap photos.

General Manager Trevor Broome shared his enthusiasm for the installation, calling Paddington a “national treasure” and an icon known and loved by everyone in the UK. He encouraged families to make lasting memories with the bear, noting that the statue will remain at Land’s End for at least the next 12 months.
