Early this morning, a disturbing hit-and-run incident occurred on the A394 near Helston, causing significant concern and prompting an urgent call for public assistance. At approximately 7:15 am, a driver from Prima Bakeries LTD was struck by another vehicle while travelling towards Helston, just past the Halfway House pub.
Details of the Incident
According to a post from Prima Bakeries LTD, the collision involved their delivery vehicle and a dark grey vehicle, possibly a Ford Transit. The dark grey vehicle, travelling in the opposite direction, veered into the wrong lane and collided with the bakery’s delivery vehicle. Despite the impact, the driver of the dark grey vehicle did not stop to check on the other driver or exchange details.
Driver and Vehicle Condition
Fortunately, the driver from Prima Bakeries LTD, though understandably shaken by the incident, was not injured. The damage to the delivery vehicle was described as not too serious. It is suspected that the dark grey vehicle sustained significant damage on the driver’s side.
