A Collaborative Forum

Described as a collaborative space, the board will work to influence mental health policies based on local needs and priorities.
Key goals of the board include:
- Identifying gaps in mental health services
- Improving the quality, accessibility, and outcomes for people accessing support
- Amplifying the voices of individuals with lived experience to inform important decisions
- Monitoring the performance of mental health services
- Fostering partnerships between service providers to promote integrated and coordinated care
Open to All
Healthwatch Cornwall CEO Debbie Gilbert emphasised the importance of community input in shaping the board’s work, encouraging anyone from those with personal experience to caregivers and professionals to attend.
“No booking is required, so feel free to just turn up,” Debbie said.
