Police Appeal After Fatal A38 Collision Near Doublebois

A man has died following a single-car collision on the A38 in the Glynn Valley near Doublebois yesterday morning, 22nd June.

Emergency services called just after 5am

The crash, which involved a silver Ford C-MAX Estate, was reported around 5.05am. The driver, a man in his 40s from Plymouth, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Road closed for 12 hours

Police shut the road for 12 hours while officers carried out an investigation, including a full examination of the scene.

Witnesses and dashcam footage sought

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward as they continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
