A Season of Success for Truro City FC

Truro City Football Club is having a stellar season, with a new stadium, record-breaking crowds, and the team vying for promotion. As ‘The Tinners’ continue their push for glory, they’re adding another win to their list: the launch of their own beer and a bold step towards sustainability.

To mark their inaugural year at the Truro City Stadium (TCS), the club has partnered with Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Sharp’s Brewery to create ‘The Business’, a 4% lager designed to be the ultimate pitch-side drink. Fans can enjoy this refreshing brew starting Saturday, 18th January, during a pivotal home game against Aveley FC.

A Lager Made for Fans

‘The Business’ has been expertly crafted by the renowned Sharp’s Brewery and promises to be a perfectly balanced, refreshing addition to match days. But the excitement doesn’t stop at the lager itself. Truro City FC has also introduced eco-friendly reusable cups for all drinks served at the stadium, eliminating single-use plastics entirely.

Rob Butland, Head of Operations & Commercial for Truro City FC, shared his enthusiasm for this collaboration, saying,
“I am beyond delighted to announce this partnership with our friends at Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. It’s fitting that two organisations who champion the prosperity of Cornwall are collaborating in such a significant way to bring reusable cups to TCS, making for a more environmentally friendly match-day experience.”

A Toast to the Fans

To celebrate the launch of ‘The Business’, Truro City FC is offering the first 100 spectators through the stadium doors on Saturday, 18th January, a free pint of the new lager. It’s a gesture of gratitude for the unwavering support shown by the community since the club’s return to the city and Duchy.

John Brown, CEO of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, expressed his pride in the partnership, stating,
“Working with Sharp’s Brewery and the commercial team at Truro City FC, we’re thrilled to raise a pint of ‘The Business’ in our new reusable cups. We look forward to toasting our promotion to the National League at the end of the season.”

Be Part of the Action

Fans can purchase tickets for Truro City’s home games, including the critical match against Aveley FC, on the club’s website, with discounts available for advance bookings.

This season, it’s more than just football at TCS – it’s about community, sustainability, and celebration. Don’t miss your chance to experience it all, pint in hand.
