Horrifying Dog Attack in Falmouth: Child Hospitalised with Serious Injuries
In a disturbing incident on Saturday evening, a young girl was seriously injured after being bitten by a dog in Falmouth, sparking a police investigation into the matter.

The emergency services rushed to Lowenek Close at approximately 7:10 PM on 13 April, following reports of a dog attack involving a child. The girl, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained serious injuries due to the bite.
Emergency Response
Upon receiving the distress call, the ambulance service promptly responded, ensuring the girl received immediate medical attention. She was transported to Treliske Hospital where she is currently being treated. The injuries, while serious, have been reported as not life-threatening. Family members have been by her side since the incident.

Devon and Cornwall Police were quick to arrive at the scene. The dog, identified as an XL Bully, was seized by the officers. An XL Bully is known for its large size and powerful build, which raises potential concerns about its aggression.
