Halloween Garden Display Lights Up Falmouth for Local Animal Charity

A spooky transformation is taking place at 136 Boslowick Road, Falmouth as the third annual fundraiser for The Last Chance Hotel, a Cornwall-based animal charity, kicks off with an eerie but enchanting Halloween Garden Display. The event, located in the Boslowick area, is becoming a local favourite as residents bring their handmade creations to life in support of the charity.

Supporting The Last Chance Hotel

The Last Chance Hotel is a vital animal rescue charity in Cornwall, focusing on rehoming neglected animals, some of whom are too damaged to find new homes. The charity ensures that no animal is ever destroyed because they cannot be homed, with dedicated fosterers providing care for dogs, cats, and small mammals.

This year’s Halloween Garden Display fundraising efforts aim to help the charity continue its incredible work, ensuring a better life for these animals in need. The display, which has grown in creativity and scale over the years, is an all-homemade production.

Four Phases of Halloween Fun

The display, which has been erected in four phases throughout October, will culminate in time for Halloween night when local trick-or-treaters will visit the spooky garden. Last year’s event saw over 300 children passing through, and the organisers are hopeful they can increase that number this year.

To learn more about the display or support the cause, head over to their JustGiving page, where you can contribute to The Last Chance Hotel’s work. You can also visit their Facebook page for updates on the display.

This homemade Halloween display is a shining example of a community coming together for a worthy cause—helping vulnerable animals live out their days with peace and love.
