Falmouth Harbour’s Leisure Team Moves Quayside – What It Means for You

Published On: 11 February 2025Last Updated: 11 February 2025By

Falmouth Harbour’s Leisure team has relocated to a more accessible quayside location, making it easier for recreational water users to get assistance. The team, which was previously based at the historic Harbour offices on Arwenack Street, is now operating from the Marine Hub Reception by the slipway at Grove Place, offering a more convenient point of contact.

Easier Access for Boaters and Visitors

The new location, seaward of the Windjammer Café, allows customers to visit the Leisure team with enquiries about slipway-launching, swinging moorings, marina-berthing, and Winter lay-up. Whether arriving by water, road, or on foot, users now have a direct and easy way to speak with the team.

While the Marine Hub Reception serves as the primary drop-in location, the Leisure team continues to operate from the dedicated Marina office on North Quay. Meanwhile, Falmouth Harbour and Pilot Services colleagues remain at the Arwenack Street headquarters.

A Better Experience for Customers

Tristan Rowe, Commercial Operations Manager, highlighted the benefits of the move, stating:

“Having our Marine Hub Reception right on the water where most people need to be makes a lot of sense. Customers can very easily get to us via the water, road or on foot for a quick chat – which is important to us and isn’t so easy at Arwenack Street.”

Tristan also emphasised the team’s commitment to providing a friendly and accessible service, adding:

“Our friendly team looks forward to welcoming all our customers and we aim to provide a more accessible drop-in service where we can answer any questions regarding the use of our facilities and services – or more generally about what we do.”
