Spectacular Displays at Historic East Wheal Rose

Lappa Valley, near St Newlyn East, is set to light up the skies once again with its highly anticipated Grand Fireworks Spectaculars. This year, the event will take place on Thursday, 31st October, and Friday, 1st November 2024, offering two nights of stunning displays at the historic 19th century East Wheal Rose Engine House.

The Kernow Fireworks Company will be on site to create a dazzling show featuring rockets, fountains, candles, and more. The event promises to be a visual feast, transforming the iconic site into a magical setting for all ages to enjoy.

Family Fun Before the Show

Arriving visitors can enjoy a variety of pre-show activities from around 5:30 PM, when the first train of the evening arrives. The Engine Shed, which includes an indoor soft play area, will be open for children to explore and have fun. For those who want to experience more of Lappa Valley, a ride on the Lakeside Railway will be available before the fireworks kick off at approximately 7:30 PM.

Food, Drinks, and Glow Products Available

A wide selection of food and drinks will be on offer throughout the evening. The on-site café will serve a range of hot and cold meals, snacks, and a choice of soft and alcoholic beverages. For a touch of sparkle, a well-stocked stall will provide glow products, including glow sticks, glasses, headbands, and more, to help visitors get into the festive spirit.
