Circus Funtasia and Cirque du Vulgar Returning to Cornwall This Summer

Helston, Bude, Pool and St Austell Get Ready

Helston and Bude are about to welcome not one, but two circus experiences this summer – and each promises a totally different kind of thrill.

After headlining the Theatre and Circus fields at Glastonbury Festival, Circus Funtasia and Cirque du Vulgar are returning to Cornwall with packed schedules and dazzling performances. Both shows will also appear in Pool and St Austell later in the season.

“We are delighted to be returning to Cornwall, a place that holds a special place in our hearts,” the team behind the circuses said. “It’s always a joy to come back, and it’s particularly meaningful to share our latest productions with both the local community and visitors to the region.”

Circus Funtasia: Daredevils, Laughter and Cuban Acrobats

Circus Funtasia 2025 promises to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Audiences can expect roaring motorbikes, the spinning Wheel of Death, and a vibrant Cuban Acrobatic Troupe lighting up the tent with rhythm and colour.

Crowd favourite ‘The Geek’ returns to bring the laughs with award-winning comedic madness, mixing slapstick with sharp wit that leaves audiences in stitches.

Cirque du Vulgar: Strictly Adults Only

If you’re after something a little more outrageous, Cirque du Vulgar is not your average night at the circus. This strictly over-18s show blends daring stunts with scandalous strip routines, laugh-out-loud comedy and a hefty dose of adult humour.

Expect aerial acrobatics, risqué performances and a ringmaster who swaps the traditional gavel for sharp-tongued wit and wild energy. Each show is a chaotic blend of eroticism and comedy crafted for adults ready to let loose.

Tickets are already on sale, with VIP options available:
