Published On: 13 July 2024Last Updated: 13 July 2024By

The multi-award-winning boyband JLS is set to close out this year’s Eden Sessions with a highly anticipated performance tonight.

The London-based quartet, featuring Oritsé Williams, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, and JB Gill, will take the stage at 9.00 pm at the iconic Eden Project in Cornwall.

JLS: A Legacy of Hits

Known for their harmonious vocals and slick dance moves, JLS first shot to fame in 2008 as runners-up on The X Factor. They quickly became the biggest self-founded group to emerge from the show, boasting five UK number one singles, including “Beat Again” and “Everybody In Love.” With over six million records sold and more than 1.4 million live tickets snapped up, JLS has captivated audiences across the globe.

Their achievements include two BRIT Awards for British Breakthrough Act and British Single, five MOBO Awards, four Digital Music Awards, and three Urban Music Awards. All five of their studio albums have reached the top 5 in the UK album charts, cementing their status as pop royalty.

Special Guest: Tinchy Stryder

Joining JLS tonight is Tinchy Stryder, one of London’s most popular rappers. Born Kwasi Danquah in Accra, Ghana, Tinchy moved to Bow in East London as a child and became an early star of the grime scene. His solo career launched in 2006 with the album “Star in the Hood,” followed by “Catch 22,” which peaked at number two on the UK album chart and produced hits like “Number 1” and “Never Leave You.”

Tinchy’s discography includes four studio albums, with his latest release being the double album “360° / The Cloud 9 LP” in 2016. His collaboration with the Chuckle Brothers in 2014 on the charity single “To Me, To You (Bruv)” highlighted his versatility and broad appeal.
