Dare to Explore the Spooky World of Minibeasts at the Eden Project this Halloween!
This Halloween, the Eden Project transforms into a creepy crawly wonderland as it invites visitors to delve into the mysterious world of bugs during its annual “Halloweden” event. Running from October 26 through November 3, this event coincides perfectly with the October half term, offering a unique experience for families and explorers alike.
A Halloween Adventure with Halloweden
The Eden Project, nestled in the picturesque setting that comes alive with autumn colours, is gearing up to offer an educational yet thrilling exploration into the world of minibeasts. With a host of activities lined up, visitors of all ages can look forward to discovering the fascinating world of creepy crawlies in an engaging and interactive way.
Encounters with Exotic Minibeasts
Get ready to meet some of the most intriguing inhabitants of the bug world. Thanks to the ethical educators from ZooLab, visitors will come face-to-face with Chilean tarantulas, giant African snails, and Asian forest scorpions. These encounters are designed to educate as well as fascinate, shedding light on the important roles these creatures play in our ecosystem.
Fun-Filled Activities
At the marvellous bug fair, expect to witness unique attractions such as slimy snail racing and sticky spider slingshots. The fair will also offer craft activities tailored for the youngest of bug enthusiasts. For those seeking more adventure, the mega-beast safari through the Rainforest Biome promises an immersive experience. Follow the trail and discover gigantic critter sculptures by Studio ROOF, artfully placed amongst the lush jungle canopy.
More than Just Bugs
Kate Francis, the live producer at the Eden Project, shares her excitement about the season: “October is such a beautiful time to visit, with the autumn colours setting a magical scene.
