Dog lovers, runners, and walkers alike are set to take part in one of Cornwall’s most unique charity events as Bark Run 2025 returns to Trelissick on Sunday, 2nd March at 9.00am.
Organised by Cornwall Mind and sponsored by Edhen Vets, the much-anticipated event offers exclusive access to a brand-new 5K route through stunning gardens, woodland paths, and private parkland with breathtaking views of the Fal Estuary. It’s open to all – whether you have a dog or not – and welcomes keen walkers and runners looking to support mental health awareness in Cornwall.
Exclusive Access to a Stunning 5K Route
Thanks to the support of the National Trust, participants will be treated to a bespoke route that winds through ancient oak trees and finishes outside the impressive Trelissick House. The event has been made possible with the help of the Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen, and promises an unforgettable experience for dogs and their humans alike.
All ticket holders will receive:

Raising Awareness for Mental Health
This year’s headline sponsor, Edhen Vets, is passionate about the connection between pets and mental well-being. Louis Mullan from Edhen Veterinary Practice said:
“Edhen Vets are thrilled to be supporting Mind Cornwall for Bark Run 2025. At Edhen Vets, we understand and promote the incredible impact pets can have on positive mental well-being as they offer comfort, joy, and companionship. Outdoor exercise, especially with dogs, not only improves physical health but also boosts mood and reduces stress. Positive mental health is hugely important within the veterinary profession where emotional challenges are part of daily life. By supporting Mind Cornwall and this amazing event, we hope to raise awareness and contribute to a happier, healthier future for pets and people alike.”
Cornwall Mind provides essential mental health services across the county, supporting 1 in 4 people who experience mental health challenges. The charity is independently funded, meaning events like Bark Run are crucial in keeping these services available to those who need them.
Get Involved – Fundraise and Make a Difference
All participants are encouraged to seek sponsorship, with every dog that raises £20 or more receiving a certificate and a Cornwall Mind dog bandana as a thank-you.
Paul Reeve, CEO of Cornwall Mind, highlighted the importance of community support, saying:
“It is fantastic to be working with The National Trust, the teams at Trelissick, The Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen, Seasalt and The Dog House again for this year’s Bark Run. Also, we welcome new relationships with Edhen Vets as our headlining sponsor, and generous sponsorship from Harland Accountants. This is such an exciting event for both people and dogs as well as a great opportunity to support a cause that is so important. Mental ill health affects 1 in 4 of us, so if it isn’t you, it will be someone you care about. We support around 1,000 people a year and absolutely couldn’t do this without the support of our partners and especially people signing up to our fundraising events. If you and your dog love walking or running in beautiful scenery and you want to make a difference while doing it, we would love to see you there.”
