Devon and Cornwall Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman at an isolated property near Merrymeet, Liskeard.
The police were alerted by the ambulance service at around 8:40 am on Saturday, 15 June, to the report of a deceased woman in her 40s.
Suspect Arrested
A 75-year-old man from the Liskeard area has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody. Detective Inspector Neil Blanchard, from the Major Crime Investigation Team, stated that the deceased and the suspect were known to each other.
