Tragic Collision on B3275 Claims Life of Local Motorcyclist

Police were called at around 11:45 am on Monday, 20 May, following reports of a severe road traffic collision on the B3275 at Ladock.

The incident involved a car and a motorcycle, resulting in the motorcyclist sustaining fatal injuries.

Incident Details

The motorcyclist, a 57-year-old man from the local area, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Road Closure and Investigation

In response to the collision, the B3275 was closed to allow specialist forensic collision investigators to examine the scene thoroughly. The closure caused significant disruption in the area, but it was necessary to ensure a detailed investigation could take place.

Appeal for Witnesses

The police are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet come forward or anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to contact them. Witnesses are urged to reach out via phone at 101 or through the police website, quoting log number 332 of 20 May.
