Tragic Collision Near Truro: Woman Suffers Life-Changing Injuries

Devon and Cornwall Police are urgently seeking witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the access road to Valley View Touring Park in Blackwater, near Truro.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.50 pm on Saturday, 29 June, and involved a white panel van and a pedestrian.

As a result of the collision, a woman was transported to Derriford Hospital. Authorities believe she may have sustained life-changing leg injuries. A 39-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving. She has since been released on police bail pending further investigation.
