Newquay, Cornwall – A serious road traffic collision involving a motorcycle has prompted an urgent appeal for witnesses and information by Devon and Cornwall Police.

The incident occurred on the A3059 near Spitfire Corner at approximately 9:05 PM on Thursday, 25 July. According to police reports, the collision involved a single motorcycle. Both the rider and the pillion passenger were promptly taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske for medical treatment.
Injuries and Hospital Transfer
The male rider sustained potentially life-changing injuries and, after initial treatment, was transferred to Derriford Hospital for further care. The male pillion passenger, on the other hand, suffered minor injuries and was treated at Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske.
