Police Appeal for Witnesses After Fatal Road Traffic Collision in Penzance
Police are urging witnesses to come forward following a fatal road traffic collision in Penzance in the early hours of Friday 31st January.
Appeal for Information
Officers are seeking information about the incident, which involved a single-vehicle collision on the A30 at Eastern Green. The crash, reported at around 2.35am, involved a white Honda motorbike.
The motorcyclist, a 36-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Road Closures and Investigation
Officers from the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended and carried out a detailed investigation at the scene. The A30 was closed for several hours before reopening at around 11.05am.
Police have thanked members of the public for their patience during the closure.
