Police Appeal for Information on Horse Killing in Gorran Haven
St Austell Police are actively seeking information from the public regarding a disturbing incident that resulted in the death of a horse near Gorran Haven.
The unsettling event is believed to have occurred within a timeframe of two hours, between 6pm and 8pm, on Tuesday, 5th March, in a field adjacent to Menagwin Court, Gorran Haven.
Described as an extremely distressing and cruel attack, authorities are urging anyone with relevant information or CCTV footage that could aid in the investigation to come forward. The police emphasise the severity of the case and the importance of community assistance in solving this heinous act.
While there have been rumours circulating within the community about a local individual allegedly involved in the incident, the police have clarified that this person is not currently being treated as a viable suspect. The investigation remains open and thorough, with the police dedicated to following all leads to uncover the truth behind this cruel act.
