Police Appeal For Information After Cyclist Suffers Serious Injuries in St Agnes Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision involving a bicycle and a car near St Agnes.

The incident occurred on Goonown Road, between Sevenmilestone and Goonbell, at approximately 6.15pm on Wednesday, 18th September. The collision involved a pedal cycle and a dark-coloured vehicle that left the scene. The car is suspected to be a black Mercedes Coupe.

Cyclist Airlifted to Hospital

As a result of the collision, the male cyclist sustained potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance.

Officers from the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended the incident and carried out a detailed investigation at the scene.
