Police Appeal After Serious Collision on A30 Near Camborne

A man in his 40s is in a critical condition following a serious collision on the A30 near Camborne late last night.

Collision Near Roseworthy

Emergency services were notified just before midnight at around 11.55pm on Friday 4th July. The incident involved a pedestrian and a Ford Mondeo towing a caravan on the westbound carriageway of the A30 near Roseworthy.

Police confirmed that the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Road Closures in Place

As of this morning (Saturday 5th July), the westbound A30 in the area remains closed while officers continue to work at the scene. It is expected to reopen mid to late morning.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and expect disruption to their journeys.

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Investigating officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage, or any information that could help their enquiries.
