Penzance Cyclist Airlifted After Serious Crash with Camper Van on B3315
Witnesses Sought After Camper Van Collision on B3315
A cyclist was left with serious injuries following a collision involving a camper van on the B3315 near St Buryan, according to Devon and Cornwall Police. Officers were alerted to the scene at Treen around 1:40 pm on Sunday, 27th October.
Cyclist Airlifted to Hospital
The cyclist, a man in his 50s from Penzance, sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported by Air Ambulance to Derriford Hospital. The incident required the closure of the road for five hours as police conducted thorough investigations on-site.
Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers have extended their gratitude to members of the public who stopped to provide assistance at the scene. They are now urging anyone who may have dashcam footage or relevant information to assist with their investigation. Witnesses are asked to contact police either online or by calling 101 and quoting log 480 of 27/10/24.
