Freya’s Passion for Policing Leads to Station Visit

Published On: 23 September 2024Last Updated: 23 September 2024By

Freya, a young girl from Cornwall, has been captivated by all things police-related recently, according to an email received by PCSO Sleeman from her mother, Ellie. Freya’s fascination extends to police vehicles, stations, and even police dogs. Every week at school, she bakes and wondered if there might be a police officer who loves cake. Wondering if there was an officer with a sweet tooth, Ellie reached out to see if her daughter could deliver a cake to the station.

A Day to Remember

PCSO Sleeman welcomed the idea and invited Freya and Ellie to visit the station. During their visit, they enjoyed a tour of the facilities, some fingerprinting fun, and even had a chance to explore a patrol car. The visit concluded with a delightful unicorn cake shared by PCSO Sleeman, who described it as a perfect way to brighten up a rainy Sunday.

A Sweet Gesture

Freya’s thoughtful act didn’t just satisfy the officers’ cravings; it also highlighted the positive community spirit shared between the local residents and the police. Freya’s visit brought smiles and a sense of joy to everyone involved.
