Family Pays Tribute to Woman Following Fatal Collision On The A30
The family of Clare Laskey, 47, from The Lizard, have paid tribute after she tragically lost her life in a fatal collision on the A30 at Whiddon Down on Tuesday, 15th October.
Details of the Incident
Clare was driving a silver Kia Ceed when it was involved in a collision with a Scania articulated lorry at around 10pm. She sadly passed away at the scene.
A 60-year-old male, also involved in the incident, was taken to hospital for his injuries but has since been released.
Family’s Heartfelt Tribute
In a heartfelt tribute, Clare’s family expressed their devastation: “We are devastated by the loss of our beautiful, loyal and funny daughter, partner, sister and aunt in such tragic circumstances.
“She will be sadly missed by us all including her friends and the amazing Lizard community. Forever in our hearts.”
Police Investigation Ongoing
Officers from the Roads Policing Team conducted an investigation at the scene and have thanked the public for their patience while the investigation took place.
Police are appealing to anyone with information or dash-cam footage that could assist the investigation to get in touch via the Devon and Cornwall Police website or by calling 101, quoting log 0835 15/10/2024.
