Falmouth Community Urged to Help After Hit-and-Run Incident Leaves Pedestrian Injured
In a concerning turn of events, the streets of Falmouth were disrupted by a serious road traffic collision that has left the local community and authorities seeking answers and justice.
Devon & Cornwall Police are reaching out to the public for assistance following a hit-and-run incident that occurred on the evening of March 10th, 2024.
According to reports, at approximately 21:23 hours, officers were summoned to Kimberley Park Road, following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a small white vehicle. The vehicle in question reportedly struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene, leaving the victim injured on the road.
Emergency services acted promptly, and the injured pedestrian was quickly transported to Royal Cornwall Treliske Hospital. Medical professionals are currently treating the individual for injuries sustained in the collision. The condition of the pedestrian remains a primary concern for both authorities and the community.
Pollice have disclosed that the vehicle involved in the incident is expected to have noticeable damage, particularly to the front nearside headlight area. This detail is crucial for anyone who might come across a small white vehicle matching the description of the one involved in the hit-and-run.
