Collision in St Columb Major: Motorcyclist Airlifted with Life-Changing Injuries
Serious Accident Involving Motorcycle and Van
A severe road traffic collision near St Columb Major has left a 67-year-old motorcyclist with life-changing injuries. The accident occurred around 1:20 PM on Friday, 31 May, involving a black Honda NC 750 motorcycle and a blue Ford Transit Custom van.
Location and Response
The collision took place on the A3059 at the junction with St Columb Industrial Estate. Emergency services were promptly called to the scene. The motorcyclist, a local man, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Police Investigation
Officers from the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended the incident and conducted a thorough investigation at the scene. The police are appealing for witnesses and information to aid in their investigation.
