Burglars Target Seven Homes in Four Days – Are You at Risk?
Police believe crimes may be linked across Camborne, Redruth and Newquay
Detectives are appealing for information following a string of burglaries reported across West Cornwall.
Seven residential properties in Camborne, Redruth and Newquay are believed to have been targeted between Thursday 3rd and Monday 7th April. Officers say the incidents are similar and may be connected.
Homes forced open and searched
Police say entry was forced into the homes, which were then searched. Cash and other items have been reported stolen.
The locations of the reported incidents are:

Camborne – Weeth Road, Meadow Drive and Holman Avenue

Redruth – Two reports in The Paddock
-
Newquay – Penhallow Road and Well Way
Appeal for witnesses and footage
Officers are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in these areas to come forward. They’re also keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage that might help the investigation.
