Boxing Day Blaze Destroys Car in Madron

A car was completely destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Madron, near Penzance, during the early hours of Boxing Day.

Fire Engulfs Blue Ford Galaxy

Emergency services were called to Trelawney Estate at 12.35am following reports of a vehicle fire. The blaze, which involved a blue Ford Galaxy, left the car completely destroyed.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, as the vehicle was unattended at the time.

Police Treating Incident as Arson

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they are treating the fire as arson and have launched an investigation. Officers are conducting enquiries in the area and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Police are specifically seeking witnesses or individuals with relevant CCTV or doorbell footage that may assist their investigation.
