During the arrest, a knife was confiscated from the individual, further underscoring the potential threat posed by the situation.

The suspect has since been taken into custody, where he remains pending further investigation into the crimes he is accused of. The quick response by Bodmin Police, coupled with the invaluable assistance provided by Reno, has been lauded as a prime example of the effectiveness of police dogs in law enforcement efforts.

The incident highlights the ongoing commitment of local police forces to maintain safety and order within the community, utilising all available resources—including highly trained animals like Reno—to ensure the swift apprehension of individuals suspected of criminal activities.
