The Cornwall Garden Society (CGS) is offering a unique opportunity this February to learn from Henrietta Courtauld and Bridget Elworthy, the founders of The Land Gardeners. Known for their expertise in plant and soil health, they’ll share their knowledge on creating vibrant, biodiverse gardens.
The Land Gardeners are dedicated to improving the health of the land, fostering biodiversity through healthy soil. Their mission is to inspire gardeners and farmers to cultivate thriving plants, gardens, and farms. With a focus on designing wild, romantic, and joyful gardens, they have restored historic gardens across England, France, Italy, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe. They also host workshops and garden tours to share their expertise.
February Lectures: What You’ll Learn
Two insightful lectures will be presented by The Land Gardeners this February:
- How to Feed and Heal the Soil in Your Garden
Date: Tuesday 11th February, 7.30pm
Location: The Alverton, Truro, TR1 1ZQ - Cut Flowers Throughout the Year
Date: Wednesday 12th February, 2.30pm
Location: St Mellion International Resort, Saltash, PL12 6SD

Who Can Attend?
The lectures are free for CGS members, offering an excellent chance to deepen your knowledge of gardening. Non-members are welcome to attend and can make donations to support the Society’s work.
