Twice-Weekly Route Now Back in Action

Cornwall Airport Newquay has announced the return of its direct route to Zürich, just in time for the Easter and bank holiday weekend.

The seasonal route is operated by Edelweiss and resumed today, Sunday 20th April 2025. It offers flights to the Swiss city twice a week – departing on Wednesdays at 11:20 and Sundays at 16:45 – giving travellers plenty of flexibility for both short breaks and longer stays.

Whether you’re eyeing up a weekend city break or dreaming of a scenic escape to the Swiss countryside, Zürich is being pitched as the perfect starting point. The route also opens the door to onward connections for those travelling further afield.

“Happy Easter & Bank Holiday Weekend! 🐣 We’ve got some news to make that bank holiday feeling even sweeter! ✈️ Today we welcome back our direct route to Zürich for the season with Edelweiss 💙❤”
