Tempted by a Dublin Getaway? Newquay Flights Restart Just in Time for Summer
Daily service returns with onward connections to the US
Aer Lingus Regional, operated exclusively by Emerald Airlines, has restarted its seasonal summer service between Cornwall Airport Newquay and Dublin Airport.
The route resumed today, 25th April 2025, and will run daily until 24th October 2025. Fares start from £39.99 one-way* and offer passengers an affordable and convenient option to reach the Irish capital for city breaks, business travel, or onward long-haul connections.
Direct Link to Dublin – and Beyond
The popular connection gives passengers the chance to experience everything Dublin has to offer, from its historic streets and lively pubs to its famous parks and traditional Irish music in Temple Bar.
As well as being a direct route to the Irish capital, the service allows travellers to connect onwards to the United States with Aer Lingus. Destinations include New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and Cleveland. Passengers heading across the Atlantic can take advantage of US Immigration Pre-clearance at Dublin Airport, helping them skip lengthy queues upon arrival in the States.
Ian Lough, Head of Commercial at Emerald Airlines, said:
“We’re delighted to launch our seasonal route between Newquay and Dublin, just in time for the busy summer months ahead. Whether you’re flying for work or leisure, this service provides a seamless and affordable travel option for all. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board in the months ahead!”
More Choice This Summer
There’s even more good news for passengers flying from Newquay this summer. In addition to the Dublin service, Aer Lingus Regional will also operate a seasonal route to Belfast.
The Newquay-Belfast service will run twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting from 28th June and continuing through to 30th August 2025.
Amy Smith, Interim Managing Director at Cornwall Airport Newquay, added:
“We’re delighted to welcome Aer Lingus Regional back to Cornwall for the summer season. The return of the Dublin service is always popular with our passengers, whether they’re planning a city break or connecting onwards to the US. It’s fantastic to offer this seamless transatlantic connectivity from Newquay, and we’re excited to see even more choice this summer with the addition of the Belfast route too.”
