Her Majesty The Queen To Retain The Patronage of Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust
Cornwall Air Ambulance has confirmed that Her Majesty The Queen will retain the patronage of Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
This decision comes following an extensive review completed by Buckingham Palace of over 1,000 organisations previously associated with the late Queen Elizabeth II, The former Prince of Wales and The former Duchess of Cornwall.
A Decade of Patronage
Camilla, now Her Majesty The Queen, has been closely associated with Cornwall Air Ambulance since 2011 when she first took on the role of Patron as HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. Her ongoing support has been a significant asset to the charity, which provides critical air ambulance services to the people of Cornwall.
Continued Royal Support
The retention of this patronage underscores the importance of Cornwall Air Ambulance’s mission and the Royal Family’s commitment to supporting vital causes across the UK. Buckingham Palace’s review aimed to streamline and refocus royal patronages, ensuring that their support has the greatest possible impact.
Future Visits Anticipated
Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust is looking forward to welcoming Her Majesty The Queen for future visits, continuing a partnership that has spanned more than a decade. Her ongoing involvement is expected to bring further attention and support to the charity’s essential work.
