Could This Be Truro’s Favourite New Charity Shop? Cornwall Air Ambulance Returns to the City Centre

Cornwall Air Ambulance is making a comeback to Truro, with a brand-new charity shop set to open in the city centre this summer.

Bigger, Better and Back on River Street

Located on River Street, the new Truro shop will open in early summer and promises to offer the same fresh, modern feel as the charity’s recently launched stores in Wadebridge and Launceston.

Shoppers can expect clearly defined areas for women’s and men’s fashion, along with more internal space and a dedicated donation drop-off point inside the store. There will also be easy access to charity information and the chance to sign up to Gift Aid while you browse.

Supporting Lifesaving Work in Cornwall

Cornwall Air Ambulance shops raise over £1million every year to help fund the charity’s lifesaving missions across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. In 2024 alone, the charity responded to more than 60 missions in Truro and the surrounding areas.

The new shop not only has more internal space but also a dedicated donation drop-off point within the store, along with charity information and easy access to signing up to Gift Aid.
