Memorial Unveiled in Treneere

Yesterday, on 8th May 2025, Stephen Reynolds, Mayor of Penzance, took part in VE Day commemorations held in Penzance and Mousehole.

One of the key moments of the day was the unveiling of a new memorial at Whole Again Communities CIC, which honours Treneere residents who lost their lives in World War II. The memorial now stands as a lasting tribute to those from the estate who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Mousehole Ceremony Draws Respectful Crowd

Later in the day, Stephen attended a VE Day ceremony at the War Memorial in Mousehole, organised by Mousehole Royal British Legion. The event brought the community together to reflect on the significance of VE Day and remember those who served.
