Nominate Everyday Heroes for The Family Law Company’s ‘Everyday Bravery’ Recognition – A Luxury Stay at Bovey Castle Awaits

The Family Law Company, a prominent family law specialist firm in the South West, is on the lookout for individuals who embody everyday bravery. Through its ‘Everyday Bravery’ campaign, the company is inviting members of the public to nominate those who have demonstrated courage in their lives, offering a chance to win a luxury stay at Bovey Castle Hotel & Spa on Dartmoor for the top nominee.

Celebrating Courage in Everyday Life

Having embedded bravery as a core value, The Family Law Company has highlighted various acts of courage through a series of short films, featuring eight local people who have faced and overcome significant life challenges. Among these are stories of surviving domestic abuse, overcoming language barriers, enduring post-natal depression, and forging successful careers after major health setbacks, such as recovering from a stroke at the young age of 28.

Business Development Director Kerry England shared, “For over 30 years now, The Family Law Company has stood beside those making brave decisions in their lives. We’ve been inspired by all kinds of bravery from so many people, which is why we decided to make it our core value.”

Kerry continued, “If you listen closely enough, lots of people have a story about having to find their courage at different times in their lives – myself included – but it often goes unnoticed. So, we want to celebrate more examples of this type of bravery. Not the ‘superhero’ type of bravery, but bravery that is part of everyday life.”

Nominate a Brave Soul

The Family Law Company is now welcoming public nominations of individuals who have shown courage, no matter how big or small the act may seem. The nominated stories will be reviewed by an independent panel, who will select a top story along with two runners-up.

The top nominee will be treated to a two-day stay at Bovey Castle, including additional perks such as a spa session, a round of golf on the 18-hole Championship course, or a guided Dartmoor tour. Additionally, the runners-up will receive hampers from Bespoke and Local, filled with locally sourced treats.

Kerry added, “Remember, this doesn’t have to be a spectacular example of bravery but simply something that has taken courage.”
