Miracle Youth Theatre: A New Stage for Young Creatives in Redruth
Miracle Theatre, in collaboration with The Ladder in Redruth, has announced the opening of applications for its Miracle Youth Theatre program. Aimed at young individuals aged 15-20 with a passion for the performing arts, this initiative offers a unique opportunity for aspiring actors, writers, and directors to explore their creativity.
Unlike traditional youth theatre programs, Miracle Youth Theatre places the power of creative decision-making in the hands of its participants, allowing them to decide on their performances and roles.
Participants will have the chance to lead their projects from conception to execution, crafting a theatrical experience that is entirely of their own making. Guided by experienced professionals from Miracle Theatre, these young creatives will navigate the journey from scriptwriting to performing under the spotlight, ensuring a personalised and profound learning experience.
The program is scheduled to commence in 2024, with a series of 10 weekly workshops running from February 28th to May 15th. This innovative approach to youth theatre underscores Miracle Theatre’s commitment to fostering new talent and encouraging artistic expression among the younger generation.
For those interested in taking part in this groundbreaking program, further information and application details can be found on Miracle Theatre’s website.
