Exciting Half Term Holiday Activities at Cirk Hes

Cirk Hes is excited to announce a series of engaging activities for the upcoming half term holiday, culminating in a grand Open Day and Relocation Celebration on 26 May 2024.

Here’s a rundown of the events and schedule updates:

Open Day and Relocation Celebration

Mark your calendars for 26 May and visit Cirk Hes for a special Open Day combined with their Relocation Celebration. This is a perfect opportunity to explore what happens inside Cirk Hes, enjoy a slice of cake and a coffee, and experience some surprise circus showcases. Bring your family and friends to try out various activities. Entry is free, but as a charity, donations are greatly appreciated.

Upcoming Performances

Don’t miss the Next Gen Youth Circus in action for ‘Mayven 2024’, commissioned and curated by Scary Little Girls. Catch this spectacular performance at their new space, and again on 17 May at Penlee Park Open Air Theatre, featuring phenomenal female folk musicians. The event promises to be a memorable experience, captured beautifully in a photograph by Maria Osvalds.

Special Half Term Schedule

During the half term holiday, the regular schedule at Cirk Hes will remain mostly the same before 11 am and after 3:30 pm each day. However, there are some special additions:

• Circo Micro Slots: Unique performances during one of their Circo Micro Slots.
• Special Afternoon Session: Laura Wheeler will host a special session on either Monday, 27 May or Wednesday, 29 May between 12-4 pm. Stay tuned for more details.
• Saturday Morning Kids Circus: The kids’ circus session will continue over the weekends on either side of the holiday, from 10 am to 12 noon.

Bank Holiday Family Session

Cirk Hes is also considering hosting a family-friendly session on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. If interested, please let them know.
