Bude Library Announces Mascot Design Contest for Children’s Section
Bude Library and Information Service is inviting the community to participate in a creative contest to design a mascot for their children’s library. The library is open to entries in various forms, encouraging participants to draw or craft their mascot designs using any material of their choice. Alongside the visual representation, contestants are asked to name their mascot and explain why their creation would be a fitting symbol for Bude Children’s Library.
The initiative aims to foster creativity and engagement within the community, offering an opportunity for participants of all ages to contribute to a meaningful project that will enhance the children’s library experience. The winning design will be rewarded with a unique prize – a t-shirt featuring the winning mascot design, allowing the creator to showcase their contribution proudly.
Entries for the mascot design contest must be submitted by the 23rd of March, ensuring ample time for participants to brainstorm, design, and refine their submissions. This contest not only serves as a creative outlet for the community but also strengthens the connection between the library and its younger patrons, promising a more vibrant and welcoming environment for children’s literacy and learning activities.
