Stags Celebrates 150 Years with Charity Bake Sale Across the West Country
This Friday, Stags offices throughout the West Country will transform into bustling hubs of community spirit and delicious baked goods.
Marking its 150th anniversary, Stags is hosting a series of bake sales to support local cancer charities. Everyone is invited to indulge in a sweet treat or two while contributing to a noble cause.
Charities Making a Difference
The fundraising efforts will benefit four pivotal charities in the South West, each dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their families:
- FORCE Cancer Charity offers free support and information in Devon, operating out of community hospitals and their Exeter centre.
- Ducks & Drakes Cancer Trust, based in Dorset, focuses on raising awareness of bowel cancer in young people aged 18 to 30, providing specialist medical equipment and financial aid.
- Tanya’s Courage Trust operates across Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, and Devon, helping young cancer sufferers with grants to ease their physical and financial burdens.
- SURE enhances cancer diagnosis and treatment in Somerset, supporting the NHS in Taunton to ensure residents don’t need to travel far for care.

For those unable to attend but wishing to contribute, donations can be made through a dedicated GoFundMe page. Links to find a local branch can be found on Stags’ website. 150 Years of Community Support
Stags’ commitment to the South West goes beyond real estate and property management. This event is part of a year-long celebration of their 150th anniversary, emphasising Stags’ enduring legacy and deep-rooted connection to the community. From providing expert real estate services to supporting local charities, Stags continues to make a significant impact across Dorset, Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall.
Join Stags this Friday to support a worthy cause while enjoying some homemade baked delights. It’s a perfect opportunity to engage with your community, learn more about the work of these charities, and contribute to their invaluable efforts. Everyone is welcome, so bring your appetite and your generosity!
