A Charity Born from Passion

Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue was founded by mother-and-daughter duo Diane and Katy. What began with the rescue of two hoglets quickly grew into a full-scale operation, leading to the charity’s registration in 2017.

Katy, with a degree in Applied Zoology and multiple scientific publications on hedgehogs, now leads the organisation alongside Diane, who chose to delay her retirement to dedicate herself to wildlife rehabilitation. Their shared mission is to eventually establish a comprehensive wildlife rescue centre in Cornwall.
